Dunmore Football vs Lakeland

Lakeland is at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7. NEPA Football lists it as a home division game, with a watch link. It is the last game on the regular-season schedule.

On Nov. 7, 2025, Lakeland beat Dunmore 27-7 in the District 2 Class 2A championship. Weston Yannone, talking after the Honesdale win, pointed at that night as the reason for the 5:30 a.m. work. Carter Davies said the same thing in August.

This Friday, Oct. 23, Lakeland is at Western Wayne at 7, at Sharkey-Rosetti Sports Complex. On Oct. 16, Mid Valley beat Lakeland 33-27 at Lakeland Stadium. The Times-Tribune had Lakeland at 6-2 and 1-2 in Division II, and Mid Valley at 5-3 and 2-1, tied with Honesdale for second, one game behind Dunmore. Chase Rosenkrans scored on a 53-yard wildcat pass from Luke McFarland, then on runs of 5 and 10 yards. Evan Lonzinski scored from 6 yards. Mid Valley's go-ahead score was a 12-yard touchdown pass to Aiden Willson with 4:22 left, and Willson intercepted the next Lakeland possession.

The week before, the Week 7 scoreboard had Honesdale 51 and Lakeland 20. The Oct. 30 broadcast list has Lakeland at Dunmore on NEPA Football and on WQMY. NEPA's preseason division preview had Dunmore first and Lakeland second, and said the Chiefs had lost their quarterback before the season. On Oct. 16, Chase Rosenkrans was the quarterback in the recap. Dunmore is 8-0 heading into Riverside week.
