Miller Holmes
Quarterback · 2005–2008
Holmes was the quarterback on the 2007 team that won 14 games and lost the PIAA final to Jeannette. The Oct. 16, 2014 story says he left Dunmore with 5,393 passing yards and 75 touchdowns, both school records, and that 2008 was 1,752 yards and 23 touchdowns, the season he won the Fiore Cesare Award. The LIAA record book lists the same career totals.
He is an honorable mention on the 2025 all-quarter-century quarterback list. When Henzes resigned in 2019, Holmes talked about a coach who did not change his method and who asked about school and about family. No college stop is named in these stories.
