Michael Perry

Running back · 2006–2009 · Bryant

Perry was the four-year starting tailback on the teams that won three straight District 2 Class AA titles, in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The Dec. 14, 2009 story puts the career rushing total at 6,555 yards and the four-year record at 45-7, and it has him committing to Bryant. The Dec. 28 story has the senior season at 1,830 yards and 31 touchdowns on a 12-1 team, and calls him the two-time Times-Tribune All-Region Offensive Player of the Year. An Aug. 27, 2014 story calls him the school's all-time leading rusher, at 6,555 yards, second on the area list when the 2009 stories were written.

The touchdown totals in print do not match. The Aug. 27, 2014 story says 92. The Oct. 16, 2014 story says 95, with the same 6,555 yards, and it has the senior year at 1,830 yards and 31 touchdowns. The Nov. 25, 2009 story's 6,507 yards and 89 touchdowns ran before the state game and is not the final line. The season logs on the 2006 through 2009 pages add to 47-7. The Dec. 14 story says 45-7. The Nov. 30, 2014 story, written about Dan Drewes, says Perry started 54 games and was part of 47 wins.

The Thursday before the Oct. 2, 2015 game at Carbondale Area, Dunmore retired Perry's jersey. Morgan Holmes, a junior that season, had his number retired the same night. No pro season is in these sources.

The Aug. 3, 2025 all-quarter-century team calls him the Lackawanna Football Conference's all-time leading rusher, at the same 6,555 yards, and repeats the 45-7 team record and the senior line of 1,830 yards and 31 touchdowns.
