James McHale
Offensive tackle · Through 2013 · Temple
McHale, 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, committed to Temple on July 2, 2013. The Times-Tribune called him the fourth Dunmore lineman in three seasons to commit to a Division I program, after Paul Gaughan, Jerry Hubshman, and Mike Boland. He was all-state and All-Region in 2012, on the line that blocked for Daiqwon Buckley and Austin Seamon, both over 1,000 yards, during the run to the PIAA Class A final.
He played at Temple. In September 2016 he was a backup guard, and the paper dates his college debut to the 2015 win over Penn State. He is second team on the 2025 all-quarter-century offensive line. Dan Drewes, a Dunmore teammate, joined that Temple room as a walk-on.
