Dan Drewes
Center · 2011–2014 · Temple
Drewes was the four-year starting center. The Jan. 17, 2015 Hookey Reap story says he started 55 games, the teams in those games were 49-6, and the teams made two trips to the state final. He won the 2014 Hookey Reap award as the outstanding offensive lineman in Lackawanna County. The District 11 American Legion gives the award. He was All-Region at center in 2013 and 2014, and the Pennsylvania Football Writers put him on the Class AA all-state team in 2014.
On Nov. 29, 2014 he made his 53rd start in a 30-18 win over Neumann-Goretti. The next game was Wyomissing in the PIAA semifinals at Northern Lehigh. The Dec. 7 story has that semifinal at 23-21 and calls it his 54th start, tying Perry for the most starts by a Lackawanna Football Conference player. The January count is 55 starts. Temple's roster bio later prints a 38-5 career record. The Hookey Reap story says 49-6.
He joined Temple as a preferred walk-on in January 2016 and played offensive line. The Sept. 16, 2016 story has him on the trip to Penn State with James McHale. No pro season is in these sources.
The same 2025 team story prints his four Dunmore seasons as 38-5 and names Temple. The Jan. 17, 2015 Hookey Reap story, and a 2016 top-programs story, print 55 starts and a 49-6 record in those games.
On Sept. 20, 2013, against Old Forge, he forced a fumble after a punt pinned the Blue Devils at the 5. Tim Drewes recovered it, and Dunmore scored from the 8.
